Hello, we’re Christine and Ivy!
Hi there! We’re so happy you’re here.
We’re a mother-and-daughter duo (plot twist!) who genuinely like hanging out together. Most days you’ll find us in the kitchen making something delicious, dreaming up our next project, or convincing ourselves that buying just one more baking pan is a perfectly reasonable life choice.
I’m Christine
—otherwise known as The Mommy. I’m a professional photographer, homemaker, homeschool mom, memory keeper, and enthusiastic collector of flour on my countertops. I love baking bread, creating cozy recipes, preserving family traditions, and making a house feel like home. If it’s warm from the oven, covered in butter, handmade with love, or has a good story behind it, I’m probably all in. My hope is to help you create simple recipes, cozy moments, and a home that’s full of laughter—even if dinner occasionally comes with a side of smoke alarm.
And then there’s Ivy!
—the creative force behind the “Ivy” in The Mommy and The Ivy. She’s a maker through and through, with a love for DIY projects, sewing, filmmaking, baking, photography, writing, and reading. (Basically, she collects hobbies the way some people collect coffee mugs.) She brings fresh ideas, creative projects, and plenty of inspiration to everything we share.
